Ginger Gin Fizz
Whilst the drink itself isnt warm (ginger adds a spicy warmth), the combination of rhubarb, ginger and apple is definitely reminiscent of winter (apple pies, gingerbread...)
Not so strong (depending on how much ginger beer you add!), this is one that can be drunk a little quicker, and I'm sure once you've tried it - you'll definitely go back for a second.
- 50 ml Chase Rhubarb & Bramley Apple Gin (But any Gin with a punch of flavour you have to hand is fine! - Try the Whitley Neill Quince too)
- Ginger Beer
- Apple (for garnish)
- Pour the gin into a tall glass over ice
- Top up (to your preference) with ginger beer. Not too much though, as it can over-power the gin. Experiment! You can always add a little more gin, or ginger beer.
- Garnish with a fanned wedge of apple (or try pear if using the Quince gin)
- Sit back, and enjoy!
